Presentación
La Fundación Peñascal nace como tal a partir del Taller Escuela Peñascal (una iniciativa en la que comenzamos a trabajar desde 1986, en un pequeño taller, con un reducido número de aprendices y la ayuda de Caritas Diocesana, con el fin de ayudar a los jóvenes desocupados a insertarse en el mundo laboral). Con el tiempo y dada la dimensión que adquirió esta iniciativa, constituimos la Fundación Peñascal, en un intento de dotar a nuestro trabajo de un marco jurídico-legal más adecuado.
Nuestro empeño es continuar en la línea de trabajo que nos marcamos desde un principio: conseguir que nuestros alumnos y alumnas no sólo alcancen una probada capacidad profesional que les permita su inserción en el mercado laboral, sino también la adquisición de actitudes de responsabilidad, solidaridad e integración en el entorno social

Peñascal Fundazioaren Peñascal Eskola-Lantegia dugu (1986 urtean lanean hasi gineneko ekimena berau; lantegi txiki batetan, ikasle kopuru urri eta Elizbarrutiko Caritasen laguntzarekin; gazte langabetuei lan-munduan sartzen laguntzeko asmoz). Denboraz, eta ekimen honek lortutako dimentsioa dela eta, Peñaskal Fundazioa eratu genuen, geure lanari marko juridiko-legal egokiago eman nahian.
Gure ahalegina hasier erabaki genuen lanerako-bideari jarraitzea da: gure ikasleak, lan-merkatuan sartzeko aukera emango dien gaitasuna lortzeaz gain, erantzukizun, elkartasun eta ingurune sozialera egiteko jarrera egokiaz jabetzea.

Presentation
Peñascal Foundation, as we know it today, springs up from the Peñascal school-workshop (a Project in which we started in 1986, in a small workshop with a small number of apprentices and the help of Caritas Diocesana, with the aim of helping unemployed young people to get their insertion in the labour world). With the passing of the time and due to the importance that our project got, we decided to create Peñascal Foundation to provide our work with the appropriate legal framework.
We would like to keep on working just in the same way we have been working from the very beginning to provide our students with the qualifications required to get their insertion in the labour world but always bearing in mind some attitudes such as responsibility, solidarity and integration in the social environment.
